Last night at BWC we were treated to a a magical evening as Roger Krakow, a member of the iconic “Greatest Generation” shared riveting stories of his personal journey from a young university student to serving as a navigator on the B17 “Flying Fortress” with the Mighty Eighth Air Force. Stationed in England, he completed 35 perilous missions, primarily over German airspace. Roger shared stories of wartime recruitment, training, and life-altering choices. Roger is approaching his monumental 100th birthday this October.
